a lost friend......

i lost my best friend this year.... he died on January 7th of 2008...he was my lizard dynamite. he was the world to me, i wish I could see his face just for a second. last year he got very sick his eyes were glued shut, he had a hard time breathing. we got him to the vet and the said he had pneumonia, he had a 25% chance of living. the next day they said that he was going to be ok, he got very well!! I was so thankful!!!! then this year it started all over again, it didn't look that serious. then that next day his hole eye was covered in this red crap! I tried to wipe it off, not much came off. later in the week he got a bulge on his right eye!!!! thats when i knew something was wrong, I asked my mom to make an appointment for the next day. For some reason i had a feeling that this was the last day i would see my baby alive.... he was a green anole and "if a green anole can't see they won't eat" he was starving himself. i tried to force feed him but he would just spit it back out again. his sugar level was begaining to get low, why did i do this just why!!!! I took an orange and we cutted it up into very small peices and me and my mom opened his mouth and put it in.... you know a orange has lots of sugar in it. I took him back to his cage and put him in his shallow water dish, all the sudden he stared to shake violent! so I thought he was cold so I put him on his heating rock. I left the soom for a min, something told me to go back in my room so I went back. then thats when I saw it.... he was gasping for air and I was freaking out! I grabed him from his cage and he slumped to his side..... :cries::cries::cries: he took his last breath.... he died in my arms, I cried for 2 weeks. but he was green the whole time which means he was happy. my friends think it was because me and him were so close, that he drew me back to his cage, he wanted me to be there when he died and I was, I :heart: you dynamite!!! you were my joy, you had a big part in my life....good bye my sweet love I will miss you :( :( :heart:
